SJVN Commissions Additional 128.88 MW at Bikaner Solar Project 🌞⚡

State-owned SJVN Ltd has successfully commissioned an additional 128.88 MW at its 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Project in Rajasthan, taking the total operational capacity to 629.90 MW.

Developed by SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL), this ₹5,491 crore mega project is progressing steadily towards full commissioning. While ~370 MW is still pending, consistent phased progress highlights SJVN’s commitment to India’s clean energy transition.

🔹 Target Capacity: 1,000 MW
🔹 Current Commissioned Capacity: 629.90 MW
🔹 Beneficiaries: Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand
🔹 Mode: Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) – boosting Make in India 🇮🇳

Once fully operational, this project will significantly contribute to India’s renewable energy goals and strengthen regional power supply with green energy.
