Polymatech Electronics: Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility in Nava-Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Polymatech Electronics is establishing its second plant in India at Nava-Raipur, Chhattisgarh, focusing on advanced semiconductor chips and 5G/6G base stations. The facility, part of a ₹1,143 crore investment, is backed by a 40% capital subsidy from the Chhattisgarh government, highlighting the state’s commitment to high-tech manufacturing.

Key Highlights:

1. Technological Focus: The plant will produce Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor chips, vital for high-frequency 5G and 6G communication infrastructure. Advanced chip packaging will also be undertaken, with initial fabrications outsourced until Polymatech’s foundry in Grenoble, France, is operational.


2. Collaborative Boost: Partnership with Cardiff-based Simply RF enhances India's semiconductor manufacturing capabilities, aligning with global standards.


3. Economic Impact: This initiative strengthens India’s semiconductor and telecom sectors, contributing to the nation’s self-reliance in high-tech industries.


4. Government Support: Chhattisgarh's proactive policies and financial incentives were pivotal in attracting this investment, solidifying the state's position as a technology hub.


5. Leadership Vision: Eswara Rao Nandam, CEO of Polymatech, emphasized the project’s role in advancing India’s technological prowess, while Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted its positive impact on the state and nation.
