Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd has secured the Consent to Operate from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CECB), Raipur, for its Coal Handling Plant at the Gare Palma IV/7 coal mine.

The approval, granted under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, authorizes the company to operate a 300 TPH (tonnes per hour) coal handling facility, with an annual capacity of 1.8 million tonnes.

This milestone marks a key step in Sarda Energy & Minerals’ operational expansion at the Gare Palma IV/7 site and underscores its commitment to responsible, compliant, and sustainable operations in India’s energy and mining sector.
